  1. 2026 Pomona Triathlon / Aqua Bike

This review was submitted for Pomona Triathlon 2026

Year of participation: 2026   I participated in Aquabike

550m Swim in a neighborhood pond. Walking into the water from a grassy area. Low visibility in the water. And on the shallow side. The course is in a hook shape. It rain a lot this year. So water temp was low 80’s to high 70’s. But could be hotter if we had more sun. The bike course is very flat and fast. With only 3 u-turns and one gradual overpass climb. That you do twice, out and back. It is easy to get into a steady speed and build your power. It is a very short walk to the finish line to collect your medal. The finish and after party is in a nice community park. A few vendors, food and drink. With a good DJ next to the podium. This is a local grass roots triathlon. That puts its best foot forward to provide a great race experience.
