Event Description
(provided by race organizer)2021 will be the 21st anniversary of the Steyning Triathlon will take place at the Leisure Centre on the Sunday 2nd May. Steyning is a small picturesque market town at the foot of the South Downs National Park situated between Brighton and Worthing in West Sussex. This is a very popular event which regularly sells out and is one of the season openers for triathletes of all abilities whether you’re honing your pre-season training or a complete novice, everyone is welcome. The heated pool has 4 lanes and competitors are seeded according to their estimated swim time before embarking on a great rolling bike course. We’ll have a coffee barista on hand as well as hot and cold food and drinks on the grass by the finish, trade stands, showers and free onsite parking. Alan Law Physiotherapy will be available for a post-race massage and then why not stroll into town for wander around the shops and highly rated cafe’s and pubs
