Ironman 70.3 Cairns 2026 Race Review
This review was submitted for Ironman 70.3 Cairns 2026
Year of participation: 2026 I participated in Aquabike
The Cairns Ironman 70.3 course is a legitimate course. The swim was super choppy with nearly 1 meter wind chop.
The transition area is top notch.
The ride is the most scenic ride in Australia. Along the Captain Cook Highway.
It was very windy on race day. 30km/h wind. South Easterly. So block headwind for 55 km all the way to the finish. But makes for an honest race.
