Year of participation: 2026 I participated in Aquabike
As a rule most Triathlons give a time to the Aquabikers at entry to T2 where the timing mat is.
It seems this race is a bit behind the times and still require a dismount and a 200m run to the finish line with the bike.
It would be better if the T2 entry time was the official time and athletes were allowed to rack their bike and walk to the finish line for a more relaxed finish line experience.
Adding to this the aqua bikers had to try & get their bikes back into transition to access their belongings which some marshals would a low and some wouldn’t.
