(provided by race organizer) What does the name mean? Dam 09 Start/Finish in Alamo Heights (city zip – 09’ers) and the bike course is along the Dam into Olmos Park, so…Dam 09!
This is the, “Best little triathlon in Texas!” ~ Jen Rulon
Join us for an event that has people coming back for 23 years now! Swim in the 50 meter pool at Alamo Heights Swimming Pool, then three loops through the shaded streets of Alamo Heights and across the Olmos Park Dam on the bike. The run is an out and back course and there’s plenty of rehydration, beer, mimosas, iced coffee and food waiting for you at the finish line. Finisher medals and nice gender specific tech shirts for everyone.
