The Busso100 struck bad weather on the day. The swim leg was shortened because of the extreme conditions to 1.2km, but many swam more than that because the big swell made it impossible to see the marker buoys. It was windy on the ride, and a number of rain squalls passed through so the road was wet most of the time. It was very well organized, and the finisher buffet had an excellent variety of sweet and savoury food, drinks and fruit.
