A brand new event with the most incredible backdrop. Aquabike athletes will enjoy an amazing swim at the most incredible venue then a closed road bike course through the Peterborough countryside. Times are taken at T2 but you still get to enjoy the most amazing finish line right in front of Burghley House.

    Year of participation: 2025   I participated in Aquabike

    Good event overall. Swim course a bit confusing, an out and bank course but 3 different turn points depending on distance. Caused me to make an error and DQ. Bike course too busy and too many dead turns. I’d do it again though.

    Year of participation: 2025   I participated in Aquabike

    The venue was great and the officials, Marshalls and volunteers were great. swim was ok not very deep water. T1 was good – bike ride was great being on closed roads. A couple of pot holes should have been better marked signage was good, Finish for me was disappointing it was not clear (to me anyway ) how we got to the finish chute to run through from T1 having gone to get my T-shirt and medal I was told just to stand at the finish for my photo!
    Overall I enjoyed the event

    Year of participation: 2025   I participated in Aquabike

    I really enjoyed the day. Though there were delays for the presentation ceremonies, the weather was good and there was a good atmosphere.
    Before the race none of the marshals knew where the aquabike race finished – we were told the dismount line, then the results showed times on entry to transition (about 50m from the dismount line).
    In the weeks before the race I was disappointed that the website did not work properly, making it difficult to find information about the event – some entry links even connected to the 2024 race!
