  1. Windermere Triathlons & Duathlons 2025 - Standard Aquabike Race Review

This review was submitted for Windermere Triathlons & Duathlons 2025 - Standard Aquabike

Year of participation: 2025   I participated in Aquabike

    Good race

    Cheap – only £50
Transition was set out very good with loads of staff pointing you in the right direction – all very chilled.
Loads of toilets and a brew station
Good race brief by staff and easy to ask questions
Swim route was easy to navigate
T1 – Muddy as it was on a field and getting to start line – no real issues and added to the race.
Bike route – open roads but due to the start time the roads were clear. The route was bumpy and a few hills. Nothing massive but i did question my TT bike on route.
TT bike ( just) road bike yes ( TT bars yes)

Medal was good – made of wood and good quality
Would i do it again – yes
