Year of participation: 2024   I participated in Aquabike

The event was part of the Spanish national championships and accordingly very well organised. The swim is naturally much tougher in the sea than in a lake. The day before we had heavy rain, so the water was not as clear as expected with swells that obstructed the view to the buoys. The bike course was very well managed and the road was closed off to cars and general public. The aid stations were well equipped and all volunteers were very helpful. Excellent food and entertainment was provided by the organisers. However, all information was provided in Spanish and few people spoke English. I would definitely recommend this event.
