2. Download and install icTrainer app
Free trial for 30 days and only $ 23.49 per year after that
3. Open icTrainer, complete the userprofile and connect your indoor trainer
4. Click on “Import File” and choose “Real Course (gpx)”
5. Select gpx-file from your computer
6. Include warmup or cooldown
Choose if you´d like to include a warmup or cooldown before and after riding the course.

Year of participation: 2025 I participated in Aquabike
This race was on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. Pre race communication was great, but “day of”, not so much. I heard chatter amongst the other athletes that the swim was wetsuit mandatory, but I never heard an official announcement. It was, and luckily I had my wetsuit with me. Many people switched to the Duathlon option, but unfortunately some racers went home because running wasn’t an option for them, and they didn’t have a wetsuit.
The bike course was nice. Light traffic and there were volunteers and/or police at intersections. Mostly flat. Out and back. 15 miles, not 16 as advertised.
No official Aquabike finish. The usual, “chip in the bucket and go to the finish line”. Mediocre finisher medals.
Cash awards and a sweatshirt for top 3 finishers/male and female.
FANTASTIC FOOD! Sandwiches, sticky buns, pretzels, candy and fruit. Truly amazing.
