How to register for the 2023 European Aquabike Championships

The 2023 European Aquabike Championships will be held in Menen (Belgium) on August 27th. And this is definitely a race to look forward for aquabike athletes, as the organizers are obviously paying much more attention to aquabike athletes as in previous World or European Championship races.

If you would like to compete in the Europeans but have not yet raced in an international championship race before, you might not be aware of how to register for it. Because the registrations for those events are processed through the national federations – and this is a bit different in every country. In this article we collected information about the top 15 European countries in the Aquabike.World country ranking about the registration process but also about the deadlines which are coming up pretty soon in some countries.

But first of all, a few words about other things you have to consider, when you want to represent your country in a World or European Championship race. Before you can register you will need a licence from your national triathlon federation. If you are member of a triathlon club, ask other club members about how to apply for it. Or check out the website of your national triathlon federation to get in touch with them. And you will need to get an official triathlon suit from your national triathlon federation – and as the case may be also some other official clothing. You can find more information in this article.

Below you will find the list of the top 15 European Countries of the Aquabike.World Country Ranking with the following information:

  1. Link(s) to general information about the application / registration process in the country
  2. Link to registration form or information about how to register
  3. Registration deadline

Good News #1: The registration deadline has not yet passed in most countries (except Switherland and Portugal). By the way, there is a general registration deadline defined by World Triathlon, but most countries do set an earlier deadline for their athletes to have some time to process the registration and pass it on to World Triathlon. So, there are only a few days left in some countries.

Good News #2: In none of the countries you had to take part in any qualification races as sometimes is the case for World Championships.
